These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the website goldenframehouse.pics and your purchases from Casa Barro Studio ("we", "us", "our"), operated by Elena Vargas at Calle Compás 14, 29008 Málaga, Spain. By using our website or placing an order, you agree to these terms.
1. About us

2. Products
All pieces are handmade. Slight variations in size, colour, and surface texture are natural characteristics of artisan ceramics and are not considered defects. Product images are representative; the piece you receive may differ subtly from photographs.
Prices are displayed in euros (EUR) and include applicable VAT unless stated otherwise. We reserve the right to amend prices; confirmed orders are honoured at the price agreed at the time of confirmation.
3. Orders and payment
Online enquiries via our contact form or email constitute an invitation to purchase, not a binding contract. A contract is formed when we confirm availability and accept your order in writing.
Payment methods accepted include bank transfer (for confirmed orders), card, and cash in studio. Orders are prepared after payment is received or confirmed.
4. Delivery and collection
Studio collection is free during opening hours. Shipping within Spain and the EU is available on request; delivery costs and estimated times will be confirmed before payment. Risk passes to you upon delivery to the carrier or upon collection in studio.
5. Returns and cancellations
Under Spanish consumer law (Real Decreto Legislativo 1/2007), consumers in the EU may have a 14-day right of withdrawal for distance contracts, except for custom-made or personalised goods. Because our ceramics are handmade and often unique, please contact us before returning any item.
Items must be returned unused and in original packaging where possible. Refunds are processed within 14 days of receiving the returned goods. Damaged items in transit should be reported within 48 hours with photographs.
6. Studio visits and workshops
Visitors must follow safety instructions in the workshop. Children under 16 must be supervised by an adult. We reserve the right to refuse entry if behaviour poses a risk to people, equipment, or work in progress.
Workshop bookings may be cancelled with at least 48 hours' notice for a full refund. Later cancellations may forfeit the booking fee.
7. Website use
Content on this website — including text, images, and design — is owned by Casa Barro Studio and protected by intellectual property law. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use our content commercially without written permission.
We aim to keep the website accurate and available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We are not liable for losses arising from temporary unavailability.
8. Limitation of liability
Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any liability that cannot be excluded under Spanish law. Our liability for other losses is limited to the purchase price of the relevant product or service.
9. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of Spain. Disputes shall be submitted to the courts of Málaga, without prejudice to mandatory consumer rights to bring proceedings in your country of residence within the EU.

10. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the website after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
